Cinque Terre, Italy

Cinque Terre was our first stop in Italy and it was a magnificent way to begin!
Choosing just one picture for this amazing place is extra difficult, but I really love this picture.
What I love most about Cinque Terre are it's vibrant colors and turquoise-blue ocean.
Ok...I'm also pretty fond of the delicious pasta and daily gelato, but I couldn't get everything in one picture!!

We stayed in Manarola but were able to visit each of the five (cinque) villages during our three day stay.
Each village has its own unique feel to it, but the common denominators are the colorful homes and boats, gorgeous ocean views, delicious food and, of course, gelato.
Lemons are also a big deal in Cinque Terre as they are grown all over the villages.
Limoncello is a popular alcoholic drink made using their fresh lemons.
They also sell yummy lemon slushies for those of us who don't drink alcohol :)
The weather was perfect, our stomachs were happy, and we really couldn't ask for more from Cinque Terre.

Ciao!
